PropSize (“we”, “the site”) is an educational calculator website. This policy explains what data may be processed when you visit propsize.app.
Information we collect
- Calculator inputs in your browser — optional values (account size, risk %, preset) may be stored in
localStorageon your device so settings persist. This data does not leave your browser unless you choose to share a URL. - Trading journal (optional) — if you register on the journal page, an email and password hash (PBKDF2, not the raw password), account rules, and trade log are stored only in your browser’s
localStorage. PropSize does not host or receive this data. Clear site data or use Export if you want a backup. This is device-local, not multi-device cloud sync. - Server / CDN logs — standard request logs (IP, user agent, path, timestamps) may be collected by our host for security and reliability.
- Analytics — if enabled, privacy-friendly or Google Analytics-style tools may process page views and events. Configure consent as required in your region.
- Advertising — if Google AdSense or similar networks are enabled, third parties may use cookies or advertising IDs to show and measure ads. See Google’s policies for details.
Cookies
Essential cookies (if any) keep the site working. Advertising and analytics cookies are only used if you enable those services. You can block cookies in your browser; the calculator still works without ads.
Google AdSense
When AdSense is live, Google and its partners may collect and process data as described in Google’s Privacy & Terms. We do not sell your personal information. Ads are contextual to trading education content.
Third-party links and affiliate links
Guides may mention prop firms (Apex, Topstep, FundedNext, FTMO, etc.). Those sites have their own privacy policies. Some of those links are affiliate links: when you click one, the destination firm may set a cookie or append a tracking parameter so a resulting sign-up is attributed to us, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We receive aggregate referral reporting from those firms — not your personal trading data, account balance, or positions. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16.
